The first large-scale iodized salt industry in Benin
Industrie Béninoise de Sel (IBS) is led by Mr. FANGNIGBE Gilles, an experienced Beninese entrepreneur. IBS aims to end Benin's dependence on salt imports and build a competitive national industry.
IBS is far more than a factory. It is a project of industrial sovereignty, capable of supplying the domestic market and exporting across West Africa.
Make Benin a recognised producer of quality iodized salt across the sub-region, and put an end to the iodine deficiencies that hinder the human development of our people.— IBS Vision
